Hello, my name is Irina Grisolle, and I am 25 years old. I was born and raised in Colombia and I am currently residing in California. I am a journalist and a graphic designer.
I have a Bachelors in communication sciences and Journalism, with emphasis in management and social development. I was always interested in the graphic areas of my career, so I based my studies on design and all kinds of visual communication.
I’ve worked designing corporative identity, brochures, websites, and advertising campaigns for companies such as The Mayor’s office of Bogota-Colombia, and others. Right now I’m working on web design, graphic design, page layout, and typesetting for books and magazines.
I’ve explored many areas of the visual arts. While in college, I participated as a photography director in a short film called “Me veras esta noche” (you will see me tonight).
One part of my life that I haven’t explored enough in my studies area, is the journalism . Few years ago with my very good friend Viviana Robayo, colombian investigator, we developed a research about warlike toys and their effect in the politic and social thinking of people. It is still in Spanish, but I hope to translate it someday. For those Spanish speakers interested in the topic, you can read it here. |
